Bang-Ups,
Lighting,
Random.
So Cassidy and I were on the way to Wal-mart Saturday night coming up a rather dark stretch of road when a huge raccoon ran across the road about 50 feet ahead. He made it to the middle of the second lane (I was in the one closest to the curb) as I was slowing down to avoid him, when all of a sudden, he changed his mind. He darted back towards the side of the road and right in the front of my car. I heard a loud THUMP, glass shattering, and immediately knew that the light was gone.
Once I made it to the closest gas station I got out and looked underneath the car to find the ends on each of the front light still attached, but nothing between them. Luckily all of the other lights were still attached and working fine. A bunch of the clips for the bottom half of the bumper had come undone as well, so I popped those in. There is no damage to the car, so I am thankful for that. However, I really hope that raccoon is still lying there suffering with a glass shard in his eye for busting up my light.

How-To's,
Lighting,
Modifications.
So I got time last week to install the Underbody kit, only to find one of the tubes I received in the new kit was a dud. I e-mailed StreetGlow and received the replacement today. The kit was installed with just a little bit of trouble, but overall it went rather smooth. A write-up of the install and pictures follow: Read more…

Future Plans,
Lighting.
Last month after Circuit City announced they were going out of business, I went browsing. While there I came across a Street Glow BlueLine Series Neon Undercar Kit. Not planning on buying it, I curiously asked the employee what the price was on it. Surprisingly, it rang up only $19.98. I looked up the going rate for the kit on my iPhone and found that Amazon was selling the same kit for $130, so I bought it as an item to eBay, as it was green and my car is red.
When I arrived home I opened it up to take some pictures for the eBay auction. Upon opening the box, and getting through all of the foam padding, I was disappointed to find that 3 of the 4 neon tubes had been broken. The next day I called Street Glow and was informed that because Circuit City was not an authorized seller, they would not replace it. After explaining that Circuit City was going out of business, and would not accept returns, I convinced the rep to speak with his manager about the matter. After about a week of emails and phone calls, I was finally informed that because Circuit City was previously an authorized Street Glow dealer, they would replace the kit.
I shipped the kit that Tuesday, and followed up with an email to the rep giving him the tracking number, and going out on a limb, asking if they could ship me a red kit instead of a green which is what I had originally purchased. The rep said he would do so, and today I received a the kit.
I hope to install it sometime this week. Once it is installed I will take some pictures and post em in the photo gallery for all to see.
